Graphics
for BBV
This is a selection of the work I have done for Big Blue View (BBV), a mix of social media graphics, YouTube thumbnails and graphics for the website. For these designs, I focus on the experience of BBV's readers and viewers, so they have the best experience possible and keep coming back for more content. To do this, I primarily focus on legibility and design cohesiveness. For legibility, I make sure everything I do with the typography works well with the imagery and is readable, which largely depends on font choice, color and size. For cohesiveness, I focus on making sure that my color schemes, typography choices, imagery and more are consistent across the different designs.
About
Final Score Graphics
This is a selection of the final score graphics that I designed following Giants' games during the 2022-23 season. These graphics were made for the Big Blue View Instagram page, and so I made sure that they would be eye-catching amid the dozens, if not hundreds, of other similar posts.
Podcast Graphics
These are the graphics I designed for the podcasts for Big Blue View, to be used on various platforms.
YouTube Thumbnails
This is a selection of the thumbnails I designed for the Big Blue View YouTube channel. I made sure to maintain consistency with each layout and use of color in order to create a feeling of cohesiveness when looking at the channel's page.
Other Graphics
These graphics don't fit in the other categories, but were designed for use on the website, or posted on the Instagram page. The "Women with the Giants" graphic was designed for a series of articles written about the women in the Giants' organization and their roles with the team. With the graphic, I made sure to highlight each of these women so they get the recognition they deserve.
Game Prediction Graphics
This is a graphic I designed for the weekly game predictions posted on the website. I made this as a template so the posts each week look familiar, to better serve the readers who are able to quickly identify which articles they would like to read.
